On Monday, Holy Family started the week by showcasing the benefit of Catholic Education to future families with an open house. They also showed Service with a walk-a-thon benefiting the “Charity for Rising Orphans” by raising money to build a well for a third world country. The next event occurred on Tuesday, by giving thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who help our school be the best it can be, while the K-3rd graders showed their God given talents in a wonderful Talent Show for the community to enjoy. On Wednesday, the Class of 2016 shared their Catholic education by taking over the school to pass their Knowledge onto the younger students.
Thursday was Holy Family’s craziest day when students dressed with unique hairstyles and crazy socks. The students also had fun travelling the European World with an Amazing Race Field Day, which consisted of challenges in Great Britain, Italy, Ireland and France. Last, but not least students gathered together on Friday to show their Faith during the Catholic School’s Week closing Mass. Students also learned about different careers with Guest Speakers.
Every year HFCS students grow more in Faith from the different uniforms they wear to more progressive religion classes they attend as they advance from elementary to middle school. They grow in Knowledge from the great teaching of experienced and cutting edge faculty every year. Students perform Service by participating in community service hours, in charity runs, and food drives throughout the year. Holy Family is a well-rounded school of love filled with Faith Knowledge, and Service.
